Product Grades

CASCADES offers two different board product grades. There is a difference in the raw material used for the production of carton board.

Folding Boxboard / GC

Folding boxboard is made of virgin fibres, all natural products and perfectly recyclable. These primary fibres enable us to produce high quality coated and non-coated board as well as barrier board for direct food contact.

CASCADES uses different methods for producing barrier board. CASCADES has two virgin fibre board mills in Europe: CASCADES Djupafors (Sweden) and CASCADES La Rochette (France).
